Wenger will do ‘anything’ to keep Nasri

By Giuseppe Muro

Arsène Wenger is confident that Samir Nasri will sign a new contract with Arsenal in the summer.

The Arsenal manager has previously declared his intention to hold negotiations with the French midfielder at the end of the season but does admit there is no ‘gentleman’s agreement’ in place.

Having said that, Wenger has again stressed his desire to keep Nasri at the Club and hopes a deal will be done soon.

“I will do anything possible to make him stay,” he said. “We will do it at the end of the season.”
