Arsenal reignite interest in £10m German defender

Arsenal Revive Interest In Stuttgart’s Tasci
Arsène Wenger will be looking to add some players to their squad this summer, hoping to finallu turn Arsenal into a trophy winning team. With this in mind they are sure to want to bring in a new defender. Stuttgart’s Serdar Tasci has been a target in the past and Wenger may feel the time is right to sign him.
TalkSport Radio report that Arsenal were rumoured to be interested in the player last summer but that they instead opted for centre-backs Koscielny and Squillaci. But in light of the poor performances by the two this season Wenger will try again try to bring Tasci to the Emirates stadium.
However the 24-year-old is also being followed by Sevilla and Juventus who may want to make their own bids on the £10m rated German defender who’s contract runs until 2014.
Tasci started his career at Stuttgart in 2006 and has made 195 appearances for the club in total. He made his debut for the German national side in 2008 and has played in 13 games for them so far. Wenger is sure to value his international experience as well as his height and strength.
Would he be good enough to demote Koscielny and Djourou to the bench?
